Subaru Winter Care At Colonial Subaru

Winter is coming and you know what that means. The temperatures will be dropping and the snow will start falling. And like many drivers in the Waterbury area you have a Subaru because of the unmatched traction and control that Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive provides. But before winter really gets going it is important to give your Subaru a little love to ensure that your Outback, Impreza or Crosstrek is ready for another cold and snowy winter here in Norwalk.

• Oil Changed: Having your oil changed is one of the easiest ways to keep your Subaru running smoothly all winter long by making sure that all the moving components of your BOXER engine perform as efficiently as possible.
• Tires: Like many Brewster, NY drivers you have two sets of tires; summer tires and winter tires. And now is the time to swap your tires over. Winter tires have deeper treads for maximum traction and are made from softer rubber that can better handle frigged winter temperatures. All Seasons tires are another great option for many drivers. If you have all season tires be sure to have them rotated to prevent uneven wear.
• Battery Inspection: There is nothing worse than getting in a cold car and the battery is dead.
