Subaru Share The Love

Through Subaru Share The Love we had the opportunity to present our most recent donation check in April, 2023 to both Danbury Hospital & New Milford Hospital Foundation and The Center for Empowerment and Education. The Subaru Share the Love Event takes place every year from mid-November to early January. During this time, Subaru of America and the team at Colonial Subaru donate a portion of the proceeds from every new car sale to one of four national charities, or a local hometown charity here in the Danbury area. We were thrilled to partner with both Danbury Hospital & New Milford Hospital Foundation and The Center for Empowerment and Education this past year and were excited to present our donations to these local charities. Thank you for all the support making this community initiative possible year after year!

 

Subaru Loves To Help

During the month of February, Colonial Subaru was proud to help support those experiencing homelessness by providing one of the most requested items by shelters, socks. This small item that many of us take for granted, can truly have an enormous impact by providing comfort and maintaining the health of those who are experiencing homelessness. This year we were thrilled to once again partner with Pacific House for our 2023 Loves To Help initiative!

Connecticut Cleanup

This September, we proudly supported the 2022 Connecticut Cleanup, a yearly trash cleanup effort organized by Save the Sound. Each year, dedicated volunteers gather to help preserve the environment and our coastlines by removing trash from where it doesn't belong - our communities and waterways.

Safewalk

SafeWalk allows you to walk, run, bike or even hopscotch your way through a 4K any time anywhere. Safe Walk is an event that unites the Community with the mission to end domestic violence and raise much needed funds to support these programs.

Loves Learning with Rogers Park Middle School

We were thrilled to partner with Rogers Park Middle School for Subaru Loves Learning. We set out with the mission to help supply their classrooms with the school supplies vital to enhancing education for the students of Rogers Park.

Subaru Loves To Care

We are proud to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) through the Subaru Loves to Care initiative. We would like to thank our community for their support in providing the patients of LLS with digital messages of hope during our Loves to Care initiative.

Catherine Violet Hubbard Animal Sanctuary

From meeting all the canine companions at our hydration station to handing out hundreds of dog treats, we had a GREAT time at Catherine's Butterfly Party and Pet Adoption event, as well as the annual Race for Catherine!

We are thrilled with the results of our first Colonial Subaru Book Drive! We will be distributing our treasure of books to local non-profit organizations including The Center For Empowerment & Education, Family & Children's Aid, and more. Our book drive was so successful that we even had an excess of donations! With all these great books our community supplied us with, we were proud to start a "Lending Library" where you are able to exchange one of your books with a new one found at one of our lending library locations.

Imagine worrying about staying warm as the nights grow colder. For more than 500,000 Americans experiencing homelessness, this is the reality they face every night. Through our Love Promise, which is a commitment to supporting our communities, Colonial Subaru partnered with Pacific House to personally deliver water-resistant blankets and warm socks to help those in need.
